Knitwear T-Shirt Manufacturing
Single jersey, slub, pique and heavyweight 220–280 GSM boxy fits with side-seam or tubular construction and taped necklines.
View T-ShirtsAffix Apparel is a made-to-order clothing manufacturer headquartered in Los Angeles, California, working with startups, boutique retailers and established labels that need production partners who understand small-batch reality. We build garments from your sketch, sample or reference piece — grading patterns, sourcing the right knit or woven base and controlling every seam before the carton is sealed.
Because our team manages pattern making, sewing, decoration and packing inside one workflow, brands avoid the handoff errors that normally happen when printing, embroidery and labelling are split across three vendors. That single-chain control is the reason our repeat clients scale from a 50-piece test run to multi-thousand-unit seasonal drops without changing suppliers.
Each category below runs on its own machine setup, pattern library and quality checklist — so a jersey tee, a stretch legging and a rigid denim jean are never treated the same way on the line.

View HeadwearChoosing the right decoration method decides how a garment survives 30 washes. Below is how we match technique to fabric, artwork and order size.

Your garment is engineered from raw fabric: marker making, fabric relaxing, cutting, bundling and sewing to your approved spec sheet — not a blank you decorate later.

Woven or satin main labels, heat-transfer neck prints, care/content labels compliant with US and EU rules, size flags, hang tags and branded sew-in loops.

Plastisol, water-based, discharge and puff inks with up to 12 colours. Best value for solid spot-colour artwork on cotton at 50 pieces and above.

Dye is bonded into polyester fibres, so photographic and edge-to-edge artwork will not crack or peel — ideal for jerseys, activewear and seamless panel prints.

Flat stitch, 3D puff, chenille, appliqué and tone-on-tone logos. We digitise artwork, run a stitch-out approval and back the area to prevent puckering.

Recyclable polybags, frosted zip pouches, kraft boxes, tissue wrap and branded mailers with barcode and size stickers applied at packing stage.
Learn MoreEvery order moves through the same four controlled gates. Nothing advances to the next stage until you sign off, which is how we keep fit, colour and print placement consistent from the first sample to the final carton.
We review your sketches, references and target cost, then produce a spec sheet covering fabric GSM, trims, stitch types, measurements and label placement.
Patterns are drafted and digital mockups confirm artwork scale, colour codes (Pantone TCX/TPX) and print positions before any fabric is cut.
A proto and fit sample ship to you in 7–12 working days. Comments are logged, revised and a sealed sample becomes the production benchmark.
Cutting, sewing, decoration, in-line and final AQL inspection, measurement audit, then folding, labelling, polybagging and carton marking for dispatch.
Published so overseas buyers can plan budgets and launch calendars before the first conversation. Figures are typical ranges for standard construction; complex engineering shifts them.

Choosing a clothing manufacturer is a risk decision, not a price decision. These four commitments are what our clients cite when they move a second and third collection to Affix Apparel.
Patterns, fabric, trims and grading are built around your fit block and customer profile, so your garment is genuinely yours rather than a relabelled stock item.
Each order receives a dated production schedule with cutting, decoration and QC milestones, plus progress photos — so your launch and ad spend can be planned with confidence.
Main labels, care labels, size tags, hang tags and packaging are produced and applied in-house, giving your unboxing the consistency retailers and marketplaces expect.
You speak to the same specialist from tech pack to dispatch. No ticket queues, no re-explaining your artwork, no lost revision history between departments.
Our standard minimum is 50 pieces per style, which can be split across colourways and a full size run. Knit basics such as t-shirts and hoodies can start lower on request, while heavily engineered items like jeans, bras or structured outerwear usually require 100 pieces per style to hold cost and consistency.
Pattern making and the first proto sample take 7–12 working days. After sealed-sample approval, bulk production for a 50–500 piece order typically runs 15–25 working days, plus 3–7 days for express air freight or 25–35 days for sea freight depending on destination port.
Both. We source cotton jersey, French terry, fleece, denim, rib, nylon/spandex, bamboo and recycled polyester, including OEKO-TEX certified and USDA organic options. Brands with an existing mill relationship can nominate their fabric and we manufacture on a CMT basis.
Screen printing (plastisol, water-based, discharge, puff), all-over sublimation, DTG, embroidery (flat, 3D puff, chenille, appliqué), silicone and leather patches, woven labels, heat-transfer neck tags, hang tags and custom polybags or mailers.
Yes — a large share of our clients are first-time founders. If you only have sketches or reference garments, our team converts them into a production-ready tech pack, grades the size set and guides you through fit, labelling and packaging compliance before bulk begins.
Quality is checked at three points: incoming fabric inspection (shade, GSM, shrinkage), in-line checks during sewing, and a final AQL 2.5 inspection covering measurements against the spec sheet, print adhesion, stitch density and packing accuracy. Inspection reports and photos are shared before dispatch.
Tell us your style, fabric and quantity — our merchandising team will map out a realistic production plan for your next collection.
